Sizzling Subtle Makeup Looks

Makeup Tips For Second Glances

Subtle makeup can be just as exciting as dramatic makeup. It’s a makeup look that is most often seen during the day, but pump it up for the evening and you can achieve an inviting “come hither” effect. It’s perfect makeup!

Facial Skin Care

You’ll find achieving natural subtle makeup is much easier if your skin looks great. If you haven’t begun a good skin care routine then now is the time to implement one. It really makes a difference with your makeup.

Simple routines are always the best so just start with a good cleanser and moisturizer. If you are wearing foundation then remember to put on a clearmakeup primer first.

“Facial skin care makes a big difference.”

Spectacular Eyeshadow

The key to creating this look for evening lies in how you apply your eyeshadow. Even if you don’t normally wear eyeshadow during the day, you’ll definitely want to for night. There’s a makeup tip that will help you get the look every single time:

Eyeshadow How To:

Take a deep blue, burgundy or black eyeshadow and use it as eyeliner on both your upper and lower lids. Use the

easy eyeliner method. Then take either a smudge brush or a cotton swab and smudge it just a little. Put on black mascara and get the fluffy eyelashes look.

Blush How To:

Use a spice or apricot color of blush and apply to your cheekbones. For daytime you only do one swipe but for evening do two. The lighting is lower and this way you won’t look washed out.

Lipstick How To:

Use a pale lipstick in pink or spice tones. For evening a good choice is one with a little gold or silver in it. An alternative is to use a shimmer lipgloss over a matte lipstick.

Finish Your Look

Highlight your look by placing a tiny dot of shimmer at the inner corners of your eyes, on the top of your cheekbones and under your eyebrows. Use it sparingly. You just want to enhance your subtle makeup look, not detract from it. You can make your own shimmer body lotion in just a few seconds to use on your shoulders.

Once you try this look the first time, you’re sure to want to wear it time and again. It’s one of the easiest looks to create while still being one of the most attractive.
