Tips For Creating Spider Eyes
Scary Halloween makeup is possible to create using only one color, magnificent black. That’s right, a little black magic and the next thing you know it’s fright night and you’ve got a spider woman look that will make them cringe and scream. This look gives maximum impact by only using a few cosmetics and chances are you probably already have them in your cosmetics bag. Take a look!
Spider Eye Makeup Design
Admit it, you either love them or you hate them but taking just one or two elements from a spider and using it to design scary Halloween makeup can give you a look that’s picture perfect. This look picks up on the legs of the tarantula and uses that element in a fascinating way. The focus is on the eye makeup and it’s stunning. It combines:
Contrasting eye makeup colors using white, blue and black. Heavily lined eyes using black with false eyelashes applied. Black sequins to add more focus. Blood red lips to top it off.
Have you been bitten by the drama yet? It’s an easy look to create and you’ll find that it only takes a few more minutes then your normal makeup does.
Cosmetic Supply List
You can use your cosmetics for face painting. When you’re ready to make the magic then prep your face using a good makeup primer. Apply an airbrush makeup foundation and buff it. Then apply the blush of your choice and get ready to rock your look. Reach into your cosmetics bag and pull out the following:
Red Lipstick or Berry Lipstick with lipliner
Eyebrow Makeup Set
Face Painting The Look
Create a smokey eye makeup look using black eyeshadow and blue eyeshadow in the crease. Highlight with an opaque white shadow below the eyebrows. Define your brows using either an eyebrow brush or your favorite eyebrow pencil. Now, it’s time to draw in the legs above and below your eyes.
Take your darkest black eyeliner for this scary Halloween makeup look and do a series of long dashes going from the outer eyebrow in a half circle motion. Remember, these are long dashes. Do a second set below your eyes.
Use false eyelash glue on the back of black sequins and place them in an upside down V shape going from your inner eyebrows upward.
Top off your look by lining your lips and filling them in with either a red lipstain pen or red lipstick. If you want to use black on your lipstick make sure it’s a black lipstick – not eyeshadow – and just dab a little on. Another great look is to wear a natural lipstick color.
Go Extreme With Contacts
Take your makeup to the outer extremes using crazy contact lenses like opaque or glow in the dark contact lenses. Then use eyelash adhesive to pin a little fake toy spider to your shoulder. Another idea is to take a hair pin or headband and use hot glue to keep the spider on it. Choose a larger toy spider for a great effect.
This scary Halloween makeup is such fun that you might find it works for other makeup looks too. You could easily transform it into a vampire makeup look in no time at all. Go ahead and let your imagination run wild!
