Real Fact: Makeup artists use their fingers to apply makeup all the time. The reason that they do it is because the heat from their hands allows them to apply the makeup evenly. They can also blend it better and it works quickly.

Solution: Washing your hands with soap and hot water will help to disinfect them. You can then use an antibacterial gel. If you are using foundation, simply pour a little of the foundation out and then dip your fingers. Wash your hands afterwards.

Using Makeup Wedges

Problem: How many times have you heard not to use those little white makeup wedges to apply makeup? Supposedly your makeup will soak into them?

You can do that by either dipping it in distilled water and squeezing out the excess or putting a drop of moisturizer on it. Then, when you dip it in makeup there will be an invisible layer on it to help your makeup glide on smoothly.
