Lightning Fairy Makeup Idea

I love doing flower fairy makeup, but one day, my little girl decided she wanted something totally different. She wanted to try a dark fairy look. After talking about it we decided to try a lightning bolt effect beginning above her eyes and going down onto her cheeks, but leaving the makeup off of her eyelids.

First, I created a stencil and then used white face paint for the center, sponging it on above the eyebrow and below her eyes. Next, I took out my black gel eyeliner and drew the outline, but something was missing.

That's when she picked up one of my Hard Candy Cosmetics eyeshadows (glitter) and asked if we could use it. It added just the extra sparkle the design needed! She looked so cute in her black and white outfit with those shimmer lightning bolts.
