Blue Eyes Makeup Tips
Part 2 – Choosing Colors
This is the second part of blue eyes makeup tips for selecting your best eyeshadow colors. Part one explains how to determine your level of blue and which depths of color work best for your eyes. You also found out your universal color. This section helps you move on to other colors.
Moving Beyond Neutral Colors
Your neutral – bronze – looks good anytime. However, sometimes you might like to move beyond that color. You might want to try different colors for evening. Blue eyes makeup tips include the use of violets and lavender. However, be very careful and keep these tones within the range that your personal blue depth can manage. In other words, if you wear a darker violet with very light blue eyes you risk looking like you have a bruised eyes. If you want to wear a dark violet then think about using it as liner instead.

Eyeshadow Highlight Colors
Because bronze and orange are your complements you can also wear a color like apricot as a highlight color. Pinks also work well for blue eyes. Some women love the look of silver paired with a darker color in the crease. If you have lots of yellow flecks in your eyes then think about using pale yellows paired with blue shadow. Think you can’t wear blue eyeshadow? Think again! You absolutely can wear blue eyeshadow and there's a page on Makeup Notebook dedicated specifically to that particular color.
Makeup Palettes For Blue Eyes
No discussion of blue eyes makeup tips would be complete with talking about the use of makeup palettes. If you’re having difficulty selecting eyeshadows then try a combination makeup palette.Mauve works wonders for blue eyes because it has a slight amount of pink in it. If you have a combination mauve makeup palette then use those colors. When you want more depth simply dip your eyeshadow brush in a little distilled water and then pick up some powdered shadow. Use it on the outer corner of your eyes to really play them up. Combination makeup palettes with bronze eyeshadows usually work well, too. Once you have a palette then just branch out from there. The trick to wearing eyeshadow colors for blue eyes is to start simple and then play them up with eyeliner.
